Your Home Documents

Tags: Your Home Documents

When selling a home there are many items that a potential purchaser will be looking for. We cannot stress enough to a Seller the importance of keeping all documents that pertain to their home. Here are some examples of what a Buyer might be requesting to view: survey; water well report; septic documents; Technical Safety Standards Association (TSSA) report on oil appliance and tank; Wood Energy Technology Transfer (WETT) on fireplaces and wood stoves; building permits for any additions or decks you may have built during your occupancy including the final approval document. Any and or all of these documents strengthen the Buyers confidence in the purchase of your home.

If you live in the country and have a Water Well but have lost the report or did not receive a well drillers report with your purchase, click the link, enter your address and you should be able to retrieve it. http://www.ene.gov.on.ca/environment/en/mapping/wells/index.htm
